In honor of our dear brother Baingor Joiner we hosted a cross sport tournament between the basketball community at engineering sports and the skateboarders. Bai was an integral part of both communities and played a vital role in both. In 2018 he put together the collaboration between the 2 communities.
The tournament held on the 17th of December at Upbeat center.
Eight teams competed simultaneously between half courts basketball tournament and a half court skate jam. With a thunderous halftime show by shining young Nigerian talents: Odumodu Black and Olootu.
The winning team received a sum of 1 million naira. Each team comprised of 2 basketball players, 2 female basketball players or skateboarders and 2 skateboarders.
3 aside half court basketball team had 1 basketball player, 1 female and one skateboarder, and each skate team had 1 skateboarder and one female skateboarder.
We also be launched a basketball and a collaborative jersey that comes in four color ways. The jerseys are reversible. One jersey comes in orange and blue while the other come in white and brown.
